Hi HHST,

Last night we officially wrapped up our swim season with a fun, competitive meet against Amberly. Amberly came away with the win (final score 210 - 303), but our swimmers gave them our best shot, with a ton of competitive races throughout the evening. Over the past two years, we have focused on prioritizing personal improvement based on a simple premise - swimmers who feel personal success will be more engaged in the team, have more fun and get more out of the experience. On that front, we finished on a high note. HHST swimmers dropped a total of 152.08 seconds vs our best times of the year, with improvements in 36% of our events and an amazing 72% of our swimmers dropping time in at least one race (the highest % of swimmers of the season). We don't have a comparison to last year (the Clubworx meet essentially got rained out last year), but it was a lot of fun seeing so many smiling faces last night. 

Congrats to our coaches on helping the swimmers improve throughout the season, and for making this such a fun year! The Coaching staff really grew into a cohesive unit this season, and seemed to have a lot of fun in the process. Thanks to Coach Kaitlyn and Alyssa for their organization and leadership throughout the season, and to all of our Junior and Volunteer coaches for taking on their roles with energy and enthusiasm! 

*** Special note, if you so feel inclined, you can contribute to an additional Coach bonus pool between now and Friday at 12pm through the team Venmo account (@HHST2025). This is completely optional, and any funds would be split amongst the main Coaching Staff (Junior Coaches & Up). ***
